Lodi is located in the central valley of California and is cooler than either the northern or southern halves of the valley. As a result, grapes from Lodi tend to produce wines at the fleshy, plummy, ripe end of the flavor spectrum. This wine is blended using Zinfandel, Syrah, and Petite Sirah we carefully selected from our best barrel batches. Combining these different batches and grape varieties has produced this delicious wine with complementary characteristics. This wine is medium bodied, smooth and beautifully balanced. Bearitage 2013 Lodi Red Wine delivers abundant fruit flavors and aromas reminiscent of cherries, plums and blackberries.
